In 2022, the efforts Taipei City Government (TCG) devoted were followed by a fruitful outcome with 17 signed contracts, including mega cases such as Establishment of Superficies for Land Lot No.91, Ruanqiao Section, Beitou District, Taipei City, and Taipei Main Station Specified Designated Area E1/E2 Block Government-led Urban Renewal Project. Today, Commissioner You Shih-ming of the Department of Finance (DOF), TCG attended the "2023 TAIWAN PPP Solicitation Convention" held by the Ministry of Finance and received the “2023 PPP Distinguished Awards ” on behalf of Mayor Chiang Wan-an.

The TCG launched 7 major investment projects at the 2023 TAIWAN PPP Solicitation Convention, including:

1. The Land Development Project on Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall Station (M4) of MRT Wanda Line.
2. The Land Development Project on Zhonghe Station (M2) of MRT Wanda Line.
3. The Land Development Project on Liancheng Jinhe Station (M4) of MRT Wanda Line.
4. Land development project of the establishment of superficies on 4 Municipal Lands including No.21, Section 5, Tanmei Section, Neihu District, Taipei City.
5. Land development project of the establishment of superficies on 2 Municipal Lands including No.35, Section 5, Tanmei Section, Neihu District, Taipei City.
6. The Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) and Operate-Transfer (OT) Project of Taipei Zoo Ecological Center and Nearby Car Parks (the bid deadline is Oct. 31).
7. The Land Development Project on Xiaan Station (M10) of MRT Wanda Line (the bid deadline is Nov. 27).

In addition, other projects that are announcing investment invitations, including:

1.  Yanping N. Rd. Police Dormitory Government-led Urban Regeneration Project (the bid deadline is Jul. 25).
2. The Government-Led Urban Regeneration of 22 pieces of land including land No.188, 4th Subsection, Sinhai Section, Daan District in Taipei City (the bid deadline is Jul. 31).
3. The Taipei City Beitou Film Studio (land No. 187, 1st Subsection, Taoyuan Section) BOT and OT Project (the bid deadline is Sep. 13).

The involvement of the private sector in the provision of infrastructure and related services aims to foster local prosperity by speeding up the development of city-owned lands, enhancing the effectiveness of utilizing the city resources, creating more business opportunities, and increasing local employment via bringing in the private sector’s expertise.
