In order to broaden outreach of cloud invoices and mobile payment, and also encourage the public to accept electronic means to get payment orders, payment notices or transfer payment certify cates, Taipei City Revenue Service (TRS) cooperated with Taipei Water Department hold the a joint online drawing event called“Palm Cloud Invoices and Mobile Payment of Your Hand,  Apply for Electronic Tax Bills and Water e-Bill”between November 1, 2024 and January 10, 2025. Trying to lead the public to develop the habit of paperless consumption and paying tax/fee, and to promote an energy saving and carbon reducing lifestyle, gradually achieve environment conservation goals through public participation.

TRS further indicates that because invoices issued by utilities such as water, electricity, and gas use "fluid carriers" and cannot be returned to the household at once, but if public pay the water bill through mobile payment accounts that were already bound with the mobile barcode of the cloud invoice, the invoice refers to the water bill will be automatically stored under the "Mobile Barcode". The future shopping consumption by mobile payment, which invoices will directly store to the cloud to achieve a convenient and environment friendly payment method! In addition, paper receipts such as tax bills, water bills, etc., have the risk of losing them and the storage takes up space. Therefore, switching to electronic billing for tax and water bills allows for instant receipt, as well as easy searching and storage. TRS encourages everyone to bind their mobile barcodes immediately and apply for electronic tax bills and water bills to support a convenient, paperless lifestyle!

During the event, people apply for water e-bills from the Taipei Water Department, and pay the water bill with the Taipei Smart Payment“PAY.TAIPEI” cooperative mobile payment accounts which had bound to the mobile barcode, after leaving basic information to the event page (https://services.arpa.tpctax.dof.gov.taipei/act/113cloudinvoicewateract) will have the opportunity to win a convenient store gift card worth NT$100, those who (nature persons) also apply for electronic billing for tax bills and/or transfer payment notices or certificates refer to regular levied taxes, such as vehicle license tax, house tax and land value tax by TRS (any one of the three taxes), will get an extra set of Taipei Water Park electronic entrance pass (2 pieces). The public is welcoming to participate.
