TAIPEI CITY REVENUE SERVICE promotes the application for electronic tax payment certificates

TAIPEI CITY REVENUE SERVICE (TRS) indicated that in order to conserve energy, reduce carbon emissions, and promote electronic tax payment certificates, TRS will no longer proactively send the paper copies of tax payment certificates for the periodical levies of vehicle license tax, house tax and land value tax since 2019. If needed, taxpayers can apply for the tax payment certificates via internet, mobile phones, or other methods.

With the increasing use of internet and mobile payment as well as for energy conservation and paper reduction, TRS is promoting electronic application for tax payment certificates. Taxpayers can enter TRS website via mobile phones or computers, click “electronic transmission of the payment certificate” or scan the “application for tax payment certificate QR-code” on the periodical tax payment notice, promotion flyers or the notification of automatic payment transaction. Or you can use Citizen Digital Certificate, Corporate Digital Certificate or the registered National Health Insurance Card to login the local tax network (https://net.tax.nat.gov.tw/) (in Chinese) for application. You can also apply via telephone, fax, mail, or at the service counter of your local TRS office.

TRS further indicated that if taxpayers make automatic payment transactions from their accounts, credit cards, IC ATM cards, telephone audio system, internet and mobile payment APP to make tax payment, TRS will no longer proactively send the paper copies of tax payment certificates. If needed, taxpayers can apply via the above methods, or use Citizen Digital Certificate, Corporate Digital Certificate or the registered National Health Insurance Card to login the electronic tax document network (https://www.etax.nat.gov.tw/etwmain/online-service/e-tax-document) (in Chinese) for the application of electronic transmission of current payment certificates 3-5 days after tax payment. If taxpayers have any questions, please call service number at (02)23949211 ext.181,182. There are representatives at your service.
