The land value tax for 2022 will be collected in November. To encourage the public to pay taxes electronically, a lottery drawing will be held by the Taipei City Revenue Service. From October 27 to December 3rd, as long as the public pay the land value tax levied by the Taipei City Government through electronic payments, mobile payment apps, or online tax payment methods, they will have the opportunity to win one of 55 prizes, consisting of 7-11 convenience store gift certificates with different denominations, without the necessity of reporting registration.

The Taipei City Revenue Service stated further that anyone who wants to participate in the lottery should pay the land value tax levied by the Taipei City Government through the following ways during the event period.

1. Scan the QR-Code on the tax bill and make the payment through mobile payment or electronic payment apps.

2. Scan the three-segment barcode on the tax bill and use the Taxpayer APP to pay the tax via the Taipei Smart Payment Platform (pay.taipei) or TAIPEI PASS.

3. Check and pay the tax online via the local tax collection website.

The office will draw out 5 special prize winners before December 30, 2022, each will receive a NT$3,000 7-11 convenience store gift certificate. There are also 50 ordinary prize winners, each will receive a NT$ 200 7-11 convenience store gift certificate. The list of winners will be disclosed on the event website and the fan page of "the Taipei City Revenue Service" before January 10, 2023.
